The updated DDBC1200 reflects Dynalite’s commitment to exceeding market expectations whilst maintaining the quality and consistency that the market has come to expect from the Dynalite range.

The DDBC1200 has been a staple within the Dynalite range for many years. The updated device still supports 12 individually configurable outputs but with some major improvements.

In DALI broadcast mode, the device can now support DALI 209 tunable white or RGBWAF from a single output channel. This significantly improves ease of use, as the DDBC1200 does not require discovery of the DALI driver address.

Additionally, after rigorous testing at the DiiA, the DDBC1200 has received its DALI-2 certification which can be found here. As such, the DALI-2 logo will begin to be shown on the device’s label very soon.

Additional information

  • The DDBC1200 is still shipped with its outputs configured for DALI Broadcast mode but now the installing contractor can change individual channels to 0-10V mode from the device’s override buttons.
  • In 0-10V mode, the previous device channel capacity was 50mA. The new device can support 100mA when the even channel (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, & 12) numbers are in use and the odd channels (1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11) are not used.
  • SystemBuilder 4.43 will be needed for commissioning the new DDBC1200.
  • Details on how DALI Tunable White and Colour Control is supported can be found here.

The new device has an updated 12NC. The previous 12NC will be phased out. Any orders for the previous 12NC will automatically updated to the new device.
