During its recent launch event: Welcome, Home Dynalite announced support for the new Matter open home connectivity standard from the CSA.

This is from a consortium of ecosystem players including Apple, Google, Amazon and manufacturers including Signify, where Hue and Wiz already offer support.

By extending support from Dynalite, professional installers can now install Dynalite’s commercial-grade lighting control system upfront, which purchasers and residents can later easily connect to their preferred smart home platform.

This functionality will be enabled via the PDTS Touchscreen and/or the PDDEGS gateway, with a streamlined QR code integration process. Once paired, lighting, climate, drapery and fan devices controlled in the Dynalite system, will appear in the user’s preferred app, whether that be Apple Home, Google home etc. – as well as becoming accessible via their voice assistants – Siri, Alexa etc.
