Unveiled at the company’s “No Strings Attached” event on 7 October 2026, Dynalite has launched expanded wireless capabilities, allowing a wide range of wireless devices to connect to its platform. The launch enables partners to deliver true hybrid networks of wired and wireless devices.

Signify Dynalite has announced a major expansion of its platform, adding support for the open-standard Zigbee 3.0 wireless protocol, with seamless support to create hybrid networks alongside its existing DALI2 and other space control protocols. The upgrade was unveiled at the company’s global launch event, “No Strings Attached,” on 7 October 2026.

Dynalite is trusted around the world for intelligent lighting and space control. With this update, the platform now integrates lamps and drivers from leading Signify brands, including Philips, Hue, Super Modular, MyCreation and MasterConnect, as well as third parties who support the Zigbee 3.0 open standard.

For specifiers and integration partners, the reduced disruption, faster installation and reduced labour costs opens up significant new possibilities, especially in existing buildings seeking to retrofit smart controls.

The newly supported devices connect wirelessly rather than requiring dedicated control cabling, allowing Dynalite control to now be extended across a huge range of spaces, from commercial, hospitality, residential healthcare and heritage buildings.

The expanded wireless capability works seamlessly as part of Dynalite’s existing platform, bringing the full flexibility and powerful customisation we are known for. Partners and designers who wish to to combine their choice of functional and decorative wireless lighting with the reliability of Dynalite’s wired backbone and full space control capabilities can now realise their visions with one system

“Specifiers have always trusted Dynalite for reliable, beautifully coordinated control. Now we’re opening that up to a whole ecosystem of wireless devices, giving people the freedom to combine the lighting they want, with the control they rely on, and bringing that to existing buildings that were previously out of reach” said Daniel Walker, Product owner (Hardware), Signify Dynalite.

Updated Low-Bay Sensor

Dynalite also shared that an update to its most popular device, their Dynet connected 360° occupancy sensor has been refreshed with an refined appearance, enhanced detection algorithms and more competitive pricing.

Available in recessed and surface versions, in white and black finishes, the updated sensor matches the recently released DALI2 variant.

The updated sensor is designed to bring an even more elegant look and more accurate occupancy detection to enable partners to deliver the most intuitive and efficient systems with Dynalite.

During a recent stay in 4-star resort owned by a large hotel chain, trying to control the room’s electrical services became so frustrating that I started noting every useability issue, poor design choice, and obvious cost-cutting measure that made me want to never return.
